About Brighter

Portrait of Amy Baglan, founder of Brighter Neuro Labs

I’m Amy Baglan: a four-time founder and CEO with more than $10 million raised in venture capital. I have spent much of the last two decades building companies, leading teams, coaching CEOs, navigating exits, and helping ambitious people navigate the real demands of a high-growth life.

But there has always been another thread in my life.

I have long lived at the intersection of two things: building companies and helping people grow into the best version of themselves, so they can build a life they really love.

Early in my career, I trained as a holistic health coach, yoga and meditation teacher, and massage therapist. Each was a different entry point into the same question: what helps people feel better in their bodies, clearer in their minds, and more connected to their lives?

Brighter sits at the intersection of those two worlds.

Why Neurofeedback Became Personal

It started with my five-year-old son, who was having a number of challenges that affected our whole family. I wanted to find meaningful support for him, and neurofeedback was one of the first places I turned.

It ended up making such a difference that I began training myself, too.

At the time, I was carrying some long-standing anxiety, sleep issues, and a general feeling of lowered capacity. None of it necessarily looked dramatic from the outside. I was still functioning. I was still getting things done. I was still showing up.

But I started to realize that “subclinical” does not mean insignificant.

Sometimes things are not bad enough to be called a crisis, but they are still taking a real toll on your quality of life. They can affect your patience, your energy, your relationships, your ability to rest, your sense of joy, and how much of yourself you have available for the people and work that matter most.

As my son and I began to feel better, the overall feeling in our home changed. Our nervous systems felt more regulated. We had more room for connection, more joy, and more ease in our day-to-day lives.

That experience forever changed me.

Neurofeedback is not a magic bullet, and it is not meant only for the hardest clinical cases. But in my own experience—personally and through the work I now do—it has made it easier to access more calm, more capacity, more connection, and more joy.

And really, what could be more valuable than that?

“Subclinical” does not mean insignificant.

Why This Matters for High Performers

In my years as an executive and CEO coach, I saw versions of this everywhere.

Many high-performing people are functioning extremely well on paper. They are leading companies, raising families, making important decisions, building careers, carrying big responsibilities, and accomplishing things that matter.

And yet, internally or in their private lives, things can often feel harder than they need to.

There is no judgment in that. It is hard to hold a lot. Modern life asks an extraordinary amount of us, and for many people, the brain and nervous system are carrying the cost.

But Brighter is not only for people who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or like life is a mess behind the scenes.

Some people come for support around anxiety, sleep, mental noise, stress reactivity, focus, or recovery. Others are already doing well and want to feel clearer, more present, and more resilient as they pursue meaningful goals.

What matters most is that you want to protect and strengthen the foundation that powers everything you care about: your brain.

The Brain Is the Foundation

Your brain shapes everything you experience and feel in your life.

It affects how you function under pressure, how well you recover, how present you are with the people you love, and how much you are able to enjoy the life you have built.

I believe brain health deserves the same attention we give the rest of our health.

Life is short. This is the one brain we have in this lifetime.

When your brain is thriving, the rest of you is too.

Brighter is for people who want to do meaningful things in the world without sacrificing themselves in the process.

This is about your goals, your performance, and feeling deeply cared for.
